Part Time Sales Receptionist – Automotive (10-25 hrs/wk)
As our new receptionist, you will be the voice and face of our dealership. So we need someone with a winning attitude and a professional appearance. While we prefer someone with experience, candidates with great potential will also be considered. To be a success in this position you will need to be reliable, professional, likable and ready to make a move toward a long-term career and not just another job. Job Duties:
Meet and greet visitors/customers in a professional manner
Operate switchboard telephone system
Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time spent on hold
Take Precise messages, indicating the caller's first and last name, company name if applicable, time called, and message caller wishes to leave
Provide basic, general information to callers and walk-in visitors
Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when interacting with all customers and employees
Perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, data entry, filing, photocopying, faxing and sorting mail, sorting license plates
Direct clients to lounge and refer clients to appropriate personnel for vehicle status updates
Monitor demo car keys and log demo car reports as appropriate
Attend department meetings
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma/GED
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous dealership experience preferred, but not required/ and or recent retail receptionist experience
Must be able to work evenings and weekends
All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug tests, credit reports, and valid Driver's license
