PARTS WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist parts manager in maintaining inventory on a daily basis
Ensure that unused "outside purchase parts" are returned to vendors
Assist in preparing for annual parts inventory
Pull all parts from pick tickets and deliver to technicians
Pull all parts invoices and stage for shuttle driver
Conduct bin counts weekly
Put up stock daily
Keep parts warehouse secure at all times
Keep parts area clean

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic skills with computer and other office machine(copier, credit card machine, telephone)
Automotive experience is a plus, but not necessary
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
Valid Texas driver’s license
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Pass drug test
Self-disciplined
Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
Lift up to 70 pounds
Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach and handle parts and equipment

The Valet will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner.

About the Role
We are looking for Ford/Lincoln Certified Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford and Lincoln vehicles to manufacturer standards. This is a full-time role for technicians who can work independently, communicate clearly with advisors, and keep customers' vehicles moving through the shop with quality and speed.
Pay: $30 - $53 per hour, based on experience and certifications
Experience: 3+ years preferred
Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and service Ford and Lincoln vehicles to factory specifications
Perform warranty, customer-pay, and maintenance repairs
Use factory scan tools, technical information, and shop equipment correctly
Complete work orders accuratedly and document repairs in a timely manner
Communicate job status, additional needed repairs, and parts requirements to Service Advisors
Follow all safety, quality, and dealership process standards
Maintain a clean, organized stall and professional appearance
Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and stay current on certifications
Qualifications

Ford and/or Lincoln manufacturer certification preferred
3+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
Strong diagnostic skills on late-model Ford/Lincoln vehicles
Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
High School diploma or GED required
ASE certifications a plus
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

Entry Level Technician / Lube Tech – North Park Lincoln

Responsibilities

Perform multipoint inspections
Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns
Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles
Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
Add water to radiator and battery
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
Qualifications

Must meet dealership’s requirements for employment
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information
Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
Prior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Occasional exposure to inclement weather
Ability to operate an automobile
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.
