North Park Lincoln is currently seeking a Staff Accountant in their San Antonio market. The ideal candidate will have high character and a strong work ethic. The Staff Accountant is responsible for reconciling various general ledger accounts and assisting in the operations of the accounting office. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General Ledger Reconciliation – Schedule Reconciliation
*Sublet Schedule
*Rebate Schedule
*Prepaid Advertising & Prepaid Other
*Work in Process
*Warranty Receivables and Service Contracts Receivables
Post Warranty Credit Statements
Reconcile Special Inventory Tax (monthly)
Handle American Express Accounts, posting, reconciliation and payment
Reconcile Floorplans Statements
Other projects and duties as time permits – audits, costing deals, reject lists, follow up on CIT, deposit, etc.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting or related discipline with two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong accounting skills and attention to detail, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment and work flexible hours.
