The role of the Sales Assistant provides a wonderful opportunity to learn the Lexus product knowledge, valuable sales skills, our North Park Lexus sales process and to take your time to become familiar with everything you need to know to be a successful Sales Consultant in the future.  Ideally, the Sales Assistant role would position a new team member to gain knowledge and training necessary to be successful as a Sales Consultant, with the opportunity to earn a high income salary (high six figures).  The Sales Assistant position is one that we hope will provide a career path for someone that is willing to make the investment in training to have the opportunity for a position with tremendous opportunity in the near future.  Sales Consultants have full control of their earning potential and we want to hire a Sales Assistant that has the Sales Consultant position as their true goal.

The role of the Sales Assistant is to support the Sales Consultants and ensure a great client experience for our customers. The Sales Assistant is the foundation support role for the Sales Consultant and does much of the leg work required to take care of each client in the sales department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

*Assist sales consultants and sales managers in sales functions to assist employees and clients

*Help with out-of-town deliveries.  Ensure a successful, completely satisfied vehicle presentation experience (including touching up cleanliness, topping off fuel, reviewing all features in the vehicle, covering all technology, presenting our clients with a luxury gift)

*Assist sales management in monitoring client traffic on the showroom, looking for people in need of assistance and jumping in to welcome & greet them.

*Proficient in vehicle technology features

*Attends weekly department meetings as requested.

*Carries and presents himself/herself in a professional manner with demeanor, discussion and attire.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required.  Some college or college degree preferred.

 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License)

Operator's Drivers License (must be insurable with a clear driving history).
