Kahlig Auto Group is currently recruiting for an HR Coordinator. The HR Coordinator position entails providing guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources department. The main responsibility of the HR Coordinator is to assist the HR Manager in every aspect of human resources administration. The HR Coordinator works under the supervision of the HR Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle issues and inquiries and supply information to job applicants, employees, and department heads.
  • Interpret, assist and advise company employees about benefit administration and leave management, and HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines.
  • Prepare and post ads for job openings on ATA and other job boards; screen applicants, arrange interviews, participate in the selection process for selected positions.
  • Assist in carrying out recruitment activities to include arranging for all essentials needed and coordinating work with other staff members.
  • Research information contained within internal web portals and update accordingly. 
  • Review internal training levels and advise department heads on progress.
  • Coordinate and assist with new employee/benefit orientation and meetings.
  • Carry out wellness program activities – health screenings, wellness challenges, employee communications, etc.
  • Assist in worker’s compensation program administration.
  • Review, interpret, analyze and prepare for approval a variety of data, information and reports, and make recommendations depending on findings.
  • Maintain, control and secure confidential and sensitive records such as personnel recruitment records, organizational changes and employee relations.
  • Prepare forms and reports, compose regular and special correspondence, arrange and coordinate meetings with management and staff, process and maintain confidential documents, and other duties as assigned by the HR manager.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple requests
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
  • Good professional appearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources preferred.
