Parts Wholesale Counterperson – North Park Lincoln

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Wholesale Counterperson to join our dealership’s parts department. This position plays a critical role in supporting wholesale accounts and internal departments by accurately processing parts orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering exceptional service to ensure long-term business relationships.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process wholesale parts orders via phone, email, CollisionLink, RepairLink, OPS ValuTrax, or in-person.
  • Provide accurate parts quotes and ensure timely fulfillment of wholesale customer requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts inventory, pricing, and availability.
  • Coordinate special orders and back-orders with vendors and notify customers of delivery timelines.
  • Ensure proper documentation and invoices for all wholesale transactions.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to support internal parts needs.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with wholesale clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parts department.
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist in stocking and organizing parts as needed.
  • Work scheduled rotation of one hour (6 pm to 7 pm) evening on the back counter and every third Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. A solid understanding of automotive parts and inventory systems is essential to success in this role.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in an automotive dealership parts department or wholesale environment preferred.
  • Operator Driver’s License (must be insurable).
