Kahlig Auto Group, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Records payments to customer accounts and maintains accounts receivable records for high volume automotive dealership. Takes appropriate collection action on accounts more than 30 days old. Reconciles and deposits all monies received by the dealership. Compiles and maintains verified accounts payable records. Reconciles statements and issues payment to vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reconciles statements and follows up collections as necessary.
Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly.
Answers accounts receivable phone calls, follows up on inquiries and maintains consistent communication with customers.
Updates customers' account information.
Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
Prepares accounts payable checks.
Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis.
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
Analyzes vendor accounts.
Job Requirements
One to two years related accounts payable/receivable experience.
Demonstrate good administration and high attention to detail.
Demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional customer service and work in a fast passed environment.
