Your Role
The Lexus Sales Assistant ensures that every owner receives a proper delivery of the vehicle features and controls, with special emphasis on properly educating the customer about the technology in the vehicle. You are responsible for all aspects of the delivery and, as such, should seek to meet your customers’ needs in every thought, word and gesture. As a Lexus Delivery Specialist, your efforts to ensure that customers have a proper delivery will result in an industry-leading customer delivery
experience, an elevated ownership experience, and thus, more repeat customers, and more future first-time customers.

As part of your commitment to deliver extraordinary service, you are expected to meet or exceed the following dealership objectives. 

  • Ensuring that customers begin their ownership experience by knowing how to fully operate their Lexus vehicle.
  • Attaining consistent high scores and positive feedback on surveys.
  • Securing additional repeat customer purchases and customer referrals.
  • Proactively seeking out information and mastering operations of all features and controls on Lexus vehicles.
  • Delivering every new and pre-owned vehicle to the customer in top condition.


Typical Responsibilities

The primary goal of the Lexus Sales Assistant is to conduct a thorough delivery of each Lexus vehicle. To that end, Lexus Sales Assistant responsibilities generally include:

  • Ensuring that the pre-delivery has been properly performed and the vehicle is ready for the guest (cleaned and with a full tank of fuel).
  • Setting a proper expectation for the length of delivery.
  • Providing a thorough explanation and demonstration of vehicle features and controls.
  • Mastering all vehicle product knowledge prior to delivery for the customer.
  • Personalizing the vehicle delivery to the customer’s needs.
  • Delivering an exceptional Lexus experience.
  • Overseeing the guest’s first real interaction with their new Lexus. 
  • Utilizing all resources and applications to assist in product information support.
  • Providing a smooth transition to the Lexus Technology Specialist for future needed information or to resolve concerns.
  • Maintaining a collection of product information and resources to assist in explanations.
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with delivery and to build a long-term relationship.

Requirements

  • No direct experience required
  • Must be fluent in conversational spanish
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Must pass a drug test and background screening
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver's License 
  • Must be willing to travel
