North Park Chevrolet is looking for one experienced Automotive Paint & Touch-Up Technician. The primary workload will be from our New and Pre-Owned Inventory, but will also include customer pay from our Service Department. Our business has expanded drastically, and this in an expense that we would like to keep in house. We will pay top dollar to get the best person for the position, and we have the work to make the hours week after week. We are a team at North Park and are looking for a team mentality from anyone that applies. We always take care of our customers, do the right thing, and value integrity and ethics. Job Responsibilities
-Prep and mask panels for painting
-Select and mix to produce desired colors
-Bumper and panel painting
-Spot panel blend and clear blending
-Paint touch-up and chip repair
-Perform minor cosmetic repairs and body damage repair
-Wet sand and buff scratches/blemishes
-Provide job estimates for labor and materials
-Order and organize paints and supplies
-Able to do OEM factory paint
-Maintain tools and keep equipment clean
-Maintain a clean work area
-Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment
Qualifications
-Minimum 3 years Automotive paint experience required
-Strong communication skills
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-No drugs
-No tobacco
-Clean record
