Accounting Clerk

North Park Lexus of Rio Grande Valley has an opportunity for a results-focused and experienced Accounting Clerk.  The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for various office duties within the Accounting Office, including reception duties.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Financial Software & Excel Experience Required
• General Accounting experience
• Administrative Writing Skills
• Organization, Data Entry, and General Math Skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
