Facilities Maintenance Coordinator – Handyman

Our dealership is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This unique opportunity does not come along very often within our dealership and will be very rewarding for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Include the following.

• Keep exterior of the dealership clean of all debris
• Perform ground maintenance to include putting down mulch, tree trimming and spraying grass and weed kill
• Electrical work to include replacing outlets, wall switches, light fixtures and ceiling fans
• Sprinkler maintenance and repair
• Minor plumbing repair as needed
• Perform building inspections to ensure building safety and security
• Building maintenance to include but not limited to replacing ceiling tiles, A/C filters, minor painting, changing out light bulbs, hanging signs, etc.
• Move, store, or dispose of office furniture and equipment as needed
• Empty garbage cans as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment: vacuum cleaner, scrubber, buffer, wet and dry mops, and brooms
• Drive customers to their desired locations as needed
• Maintain and store all company supplied tools and equipment
• Must have the ability to work outdoors under adverse weather conditions
• Make weekly runs to the hardware store
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to willingly attend and participate in training sessions
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds
• Run errands for manager(s) as needed.
• Have a clean driving record
• Willing to perform other duties and back up all dealership departments as needed and as directed by upper management

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical demands include but are not limited to excessive walking, standing, bending and lifting up to approximately 50 lbs.
