Parts Advisor Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist parts manager in maintaining inventory on a daily basis, including stocking parts, pulling parts orders, and being knowledgeable with receiving parts, and warranty retention.
  • Assist parts advisor in billing of parts for retail, wholesale, and internal customers by phone, online, and in person.
  • Primarily responsible for handling internal service, retail, and online orders.  
  • Keep parts areas clean.
  • Ability to multitask a must.
  • Looking for self starting, fast learning, motivated individuals
  • Automotive parts experience is a plus.
  • This is an entry level position for those looking for long term employment in the automotive industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic skills with computer and other office machine (copier, credit card machine, telephone)
  • Strong customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask a plus
  • Valid Texas driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Pass drug test (hair follicle) & background test
  • Self-disciplined
  • Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard (including assisting other depts)
  • Lift up to 70 pounds
  • Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach and handle parts and equipment
  • Able to work in an environment that is dusty and where various chemical compounds and paint is used
