North Park Lexus, a member of the Kahlig Auto Group, is currently seeking an Accountant. The ideal candidate will have high character and a strong work ethic. The Accountant processes and generates financial data to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and post various account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information; assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Reconcile select accounts and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Assist in the maintenance of an effective cash management system.
  • Ensure that various manufacturer accounts including but not limited to warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, parts inventory and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations; assist in completion of annual review/audit.
  • Participate in accounting month-end closing procedures; provide support to accounting office personnel.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Accounting or related discipline. Strong accounting skills, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment and work flexible hours. Related experience is preferred but not required.
